Twitter link to his first tweet
Basically he sent a tweet that he didn’t have any red and black with him but hoped to see a lot of it out there for Tiger. People are big mad that he wouldn’t go find a red shirt or do something to honor Tiger like a lot of guys are doing.

I think it’s dumb, he’s not disrespecting Tiger at all, the dude loves Tiger it’s well documented. Also I don’t really fully get this huge Tiger tribute going on today, the guy isn’t dead, I get the showing respect and all that but this is a tribute you usually save for a dead guy

Stupid this even became a story.

Was a nice touch for the Nike guys but you can't expect everybody to be able to put that together last minute.

Jesus H...

What a fricking pathetic cesspool Twitter is.

Who gives a flying frick what Homa, or anyone else for that matter, wears?

I get the sentiment behind it, but the idea of playing dress-up to honor anything is lame.

Watching today, it makes me respect the ones that didnt wear the costume and think a little less of the ones that did.

I’d rather wear black red than wrote “TW” in marker on both sides of my hat.

Remember when Ricky Fowler would wear the bright orange head-to-toe flat bill costume..and there would be all these little kids in the crowd dressed just like him holding their dads hand?

That’s what these guys look like today with their costumes on

That’s a pretty stupid reason to think less of someone

Huh?

I’m just commenting on the psychosis we endure in our culture today. Where it’s all about virtue signaling and shaming anyone that doesn’t conform to it. That’s what the OP topic is about right?

The post I quoted of yours said it was lame to dress up like Tiger and you thought less of them for it. I agree that shaming Homa for not wearing red is stupid, especially considering how much of a fan he is. His fellow competitors wearing red to honor him shouldn’t be seen as a negative .

Most of today's players recognize & appreciate the contributions Tiger has made to the game. They wouldn't be playing for near the amount of money they are playing for if it weren't for Tiger.

100%. That guy has done more for the game than anyone, ever. He moves the needle more than any other player, and it’s not even close.

In his defense he hasn't gought a golf shirt since he's been on the tour they just send him whatever he wants so no doubt he didn't want to pay for one

Morikawa didn't wear anything to honor Tiger and it looked like it worked out for him

I wore a red shirt not on purpose today. My shorts were khaki. I got asked about the non black shorts. Then there was a comment about the baby blue visor I was wearing and how I might be a little gay. Maybe I am a little? Who knows

Either way I dedicate my 77 today to tiger. And I’m sure he appreciates some random shitty weekend golfer dedicating his mediocre round to him

You realize he probably won't ever be competitive in a PGA event right? He's the greatest show on earth and has been for over 20 years. I think that's kind of a big deal for the golf world considering 99% of the players wouldn't be there without Tigers influence on golf.
