Tried to play Golf Club of Housron this morning but it was too wet. So now we’re just going to top golf.

82 w/ no birdies. I 3 jacked away an eagle

It’s so damn wet out there. Pinching a wedge just isn’t an option. That’s no way to play.

I did drive the ball unbelievably well though.

I'm sure it's a long shot, but does anyone know of any courses in the area that might not be CPO Tuesday/Wednesday?

Of course the weather is finally sunny...

But cold and during the week. Current weekend forecast: more rain.

You are all witnesses. When August comes around, it hasn't rained in two weeks, it's 110 degrees and I'm sweating my nuts off...... I will not bitch.

Carter Plantation was a sloppy mess on Saturday.

Can't wait to play off dry ground again

Webb Park(in BR)is the only public course that drains well after a day long rain. There are still some wet spots, but it is playable. Walkable if cart path only.

75 at Indian Bayou in Destin, 37 degrees when I teed off this morning, but screw it, sunny and dry is better than wet and sloppy. Fun little course, greens were in awesome shape. I stayed a little while after and just tooled around on the putting green. If it keeps raining every goddamn day in NOLA I’m moving out here.

How long has it been since you played Webb after a rain?

I’ll admit that this used to be the case, but it holds water just as bad as the rest of them. I thought this same thing until last year when it stayed wet forever

Looking like most of the rain is being pushed back into late Saturday, early Sunday now.

Saturday morning might be the dryest golf we've had in a while
