Some of you baws have jealousy issues. 340 is manageable. Especially in hot weather, downwind, dogleg to cutoff, etc.

Just learn how your body works and you can hit it 340 sometimes, too.

I’m gonna call bullshite. The kid who supposedly did it looks like a skinny 12 year old. Maybe he was playing the front tees and did it.

I’m almost positive #10 from 340 is a blind shot to the green. Wonder if a group ahead of them got hit into and played some shenanigans.

Sorry yall feel this way. This is my son and I was playing with him when he made it. He has been driving the ball really well(240-280) consistently. He can not drive the green normally. We didn’t see what he hit(my guess is the yardage marker in the middle of the fairway). I was thinking he would be 70 yards out or so, but it must have hit something and kicked towards the green. It was 346 when I went back and shot it from the tee box. Also, there was nobody in front of us until we reached hole 13. It was an amazing experience for him, and it’s a shame some adults couldn’t just be happy for the young man. He normally outdrives me. He is 14 and driver is a 9.5 degree. That is all guys, grow up.

Congrats to your son. It's awesome you got to experience this with him. Don't let random basement dwelling Internet dweebs dampen the moment.

Thanks man! I went tell his coach in the pro shop just so they could celebrate with him. I told him that he didn’t need to post it because “people wouldn’t believe it”.

Ok, a crazy lucky fluke is more believable. Glad your little guy is enjoying golf and will have a story to tell for the rest of his life. Congrats to him!
