It's almost like he doesn't realize we all know LIV keeps score and rewards the player and team with the lowest score
That weirdly sounds like some type of "tournament" but what do I know.

Dunlap's had 1 decent tourney in 3 months. Rahm finishes top 10 every time out (in fields with a dozen major winners) and he's losing ground in the world rankings to a dude that probably shouldn't even have a tour card this year.

Man some of the takes in this thread are just comical. Y’all don’t care about professional golf, yall just want LIV to fail
How is it good that 4 top 10 players in the world are ranked 15, 22, 68, & 88 on OWGR?

No they really don’t
Anthony Kim who virtually finished almost last in everything last year
This is all you chime in with? Yeah they clearly didn’t enforce relegation last year. They’re talking about moving forward starting with the end of this season.

Only 11 have majors and of those 6 of them have only won once and 4 of them are a good decade plus removed from said major with 2 more closing in on that decade mark… let’s not pretend that Raymond is competing against some sort of murderers row of golf

Yeah they clearly didn’t enforce relegation last year. They’re talking about moving forward starting with the end of this season.
Why the hell would anyone believe they would ever enforce it? It’s actual insanity to pretend they would enforce it
Let’s say they have a guy on a 100 million dollar guaranteed contract that falls in relegation. In what universe would anyone believe they would actually relegate that player?
Thats why it’s a farce to call it a “tour”. It’s not

14 of them… 28 wins between the 14.

Because at a certain point, you can't just keep calling someone top 10 when they are in a closed system. If Scheffler, Rory, Rahm, and Bryson formed a four person tour that allowed nobody in or out, how many years can you go before you start to question whether these are 4 of the best golfers in the world? It's an extreme example, but that has been the biggest issue with LIV to get OWGR points this entire time.

So you’re telling me there’s a couple more that are so irrelevant that have happened to win a tournament that are completely forgettable?? lol, nice.. not exactly helping your case here.

Yup. Even if I believed the argument that LIV is equal to the PGA tour from a talent perspective, there’s still the issue of relegation and who gets promoted.
And even if they solve all that, there’s the issue of LIV only playing 54 holes vs 72.
LIV either needs to adapt or accept where they are. The OWGR should not conform to LIV.

Their fields are stronger than all dp world events and a decent amount of non signature PGA events.
Have you looked at the Scottish Open leaderboard today?

Datagolf has Joaco as #10 & Ludvig at #29
