The only reason we'll likely never see again what Tiger did is because the field is sooooo much better now.

when tiger showed up, he bombed it past everyone and they had to “tiger-proof” courses by adding tons of yardage to each course so tiger couldn’t overpower it.


Now the mystique is gone, he doesn’t have a huge power advantage over most of the field, and he’s got an old, busted up 43 year old body that’s aged poorly, it’s much harder for him to win now.

I think this back 9 is where he starts to stumble. Hopefully he shoots something like +3 and comes back to the field to leave an interesting weekend and not just a runaway
