Interesting stat and I believe it. I played PGA West Stadium last week and Alcatraz was playing about 140. Normally that is a 9i for me, but I considered going with an 8i but chickened out and stayed with the 9. While I hot the green and made the two-putt par, I really should have gone with the longer club

That shot should be a stock PW for me and hopefully land it past the pin and roll it back down the slope.

on 3/13/23 at 7:04 am to jimjackandjoseOn the broadcast when they showed this they did say one guy hit it to 1 ft 1" that day. Played there in the early 90's, the thing when you get to 17 is it's all water around and the green is level with the tee box so it's a weird perspective.
