You think Tiger never makes another cut?

Broke my leg worse than Tiger. It’s life changing. The leg never lets you forget it’s “healing”, so it’s always the lead topic of conversation. Unfortunately for friends and family.

The reality is, there will never be a player who transforms golf like tiger did, ever again.

100% fact. Love him or hate him Tiger is the reason for golfs state today from players to the TV coverage and media. Tiger is the Needle just like Arnie and Jack were before him.

I don’t blame them. In trying to bring more viewers by showing him, they only risk pissing off some of the current viewers that are going to watch anyway.

In the 6-10ish tournaments he plays a year (if he is lucky with health) They probably won't wear down the diehard golf fans enough for them to turn it off. But in those tournaments he does play, they will double their viewership if he is even remotely in contention for a decent tournament, not even a win.

He drives ratings and clicks more than anyone ever and probably will for the next 3-5 years until people realize he really has no shot, unless he pulls a Phil and wins at 50, then we have 10 more years of it.

The country club queen trio of Scheffler, Thomas and Spieth ain't moving it

That’s the pgas own damn fault. The coverage is unwatchable, but people will still tune in to see Tiger. Have you tried to watch golf in the last two years not in a major?

The tour needs to hire the people at Augusta to come teach them how to broadcast. The Masters broadcast is perfect. And I get that the tour can’t go commercial free, but I’m going to bet those folks in green can figure it out.

I don't mind Spieth, he shows a lot more enthusiasm than Thomas or Scheffler at least. Can't stand Thomas making faces after every bad shot or put. Scheffler is an awful putter and his swing is mega cringe. But somehow he's "world's number one" (as the announcers constantly remind us).

Where have you been? It’s been this way since 1998.

These announcers go out of their way to suck him off so much every time he plays, it is unbearable.
I bet you think Gary Daniels is a Bama fan.

I think actuually using the words "mega cringe" is more cringe than Schefflers swing. And what does that have to do with his popularity? It's not like golfers are liked based off of their swing. If that were the case James Hahn would be one of the most popular players int he world.

Somehow? It's pretty easy to know how he's #1, it's performance based
