Well he is probably a buck fiddy soaking wet. He isn't going to strike fear to many baws outside of a golf course but the dude has a solid golf swing and overall game in general. Plus, he called out Phil in his interview for trying to be funny when he really isn't. Probably gave him the tournament cause he felt bad about it.

Isn't he like 3rd generation PGA pro from his family? I think he grew up at the country club.

He has a competitive fire in him, but he could stand to shut his mouth some.

Pretty much this. I don't like the throwing the guy off the course, but he seems like he decent guy. I can cheer for him, unlike some others.

He is a hell of a player that I think has tremendous staying power though.

He's a douche. Pussy move getting the dude tossed last week, and he's a Bama baw. I was ok with him until recently but I'll pull against him from now on

Hurts my heart that the coolest MF on tour, Dick Fowler, is friends with this Bama asshat

I’ll be waiting for him in the parking lot

Wait a bit.

See how he handles adversity and success and people.

Since I'm still obsessed with a Bama OT 9, I can get past his parentage and happenstance of birth.

I'll reveal a little info about myself and say that I came across his family from time to time growing up. I took lessons from his dad back in the day, and we played for the same high school program. Little baw was tearing shite up when he was like 12 - seriously, he was beating some of the best 17 and 18 year olds in the state of Kentucky (guys who would play high level D-1) when he was in 7th grade, and he was beating some high quality AJGA players when he was in middle school. One of the best players in the country was a year ahead of me at our program (and a relation to a fairly well known pro), and Justin could damn near go toe to toe with this dude when he was in middle school. If I may brag for a minute, he is only the third greatest player so far from our program, but he is obviously well on his way to being the best ever.

Harmony Landing isn't some old money, stuck up, douchey club. His dad's (and his, I guess) club is just kind of exurban straight middle class folks...nothing special. I'd bet the average home price at Harmony Landing is probably about $250,000 or so. I wouldn't say it's a top 10 or 15 club in the Louisville area.

Justin's got a hell of an edge to him, and he wants to win badly and has trouble controlling his temper, and I think that's why he was a little later than Spieth in getting his career off the ground. I do think he has every bit the talent that Spieth has, though.

I'll also tell you who is one hell of a dude, and I can personally attest to it: Kenny Perry. I played quite a few tournaments against his son back in the day, and Kenny is as genuine as you would think he is.

Cool story. What I find interesting is that you describe how good of a player he was/is but never talk about what he is like to be around. This makes me think my suspicions are right on. I can totally see Kenny Perry being a boss.

I thought the same thing. Quite the CSB, but never addressed the lingering question.
