Man my short game sucks. Anyone have round like this?

No. Not to say i don’t have odd rounds. Like having 26 putts and shooting 87 or something like that. Usually when i hit the ball in the fairway I’m shooting in the 70s. But i feel your pain.

Usually my ball striking is a strength. I missed a few greens but was putting like dog shite: two four putts and a lot of 3 putts... frustrating bizarre round

Next time don’t look at the flag. Find the center of the green and hit it there.
Seriously. If that doesn’t work drive to the green and pull the flag out. We did this on mondays at the club (closed and no pins) you’d be surprised to find yourself closer, on avg, to the pin not knowing exactly where it is. Some serious mental hurdles attacking flag sticks.

Sure, I once shot 81 with 42 putts. (Greystone just outside of Nashville, Tn). Worked my arse off since then on my Putting and I now average 28-30 putts/round.

I've given up trying at this point and just try to get it close.
Wednesday I was in the middle of the fairway 72 yards out after my drive, made a 6.

Yes, it’s why I stopped playing competitively.
I’d miss 2-3 greens on my round without any penalty strokes and shoot mid to high 70s.
Other players would hit it all over the lot, makes miles of putts and crush me. Extremely frustrating.

Fairways don't mean anything if you aren't getting greens in regulation.

I had 10 GIR my last round, but three putted 6 of them in route to a 90. It was my worst round of putting in a decade
