Got an 8.5 TM m4 off of eBay from Kaouth9 for $140 basically brand new. Played with it 2 weekends ago when I was coming down with the flu, but a few questions for y’all. Is the m4 stock stiff shaft really heavy? Or was I maybe a bit fatigued from the flu? I had a 910 D2 before and it felt like it was half the weight. Also, the feeling of the ball coming off the face feels like a rock. Not a fan of the sound or the feel, anyone else have any issues with the m4? I also think being 8.5 has a major amount to do with it.

Ball flight is low, but lower than I was thinking an 8.5 would be. Don’t think it’s fake, purchased multiple clubs from him before and they have all been legit.

Get a Tensei CK Pro Orange for it. Or get an M5. Much better club imo.

I just got a used M4 3W 15deg. from global golf today. Went to the range and can’t hit it worth shite, slice city.

Same thing - the sound and feel were very off putting. Also noticed a sticker on the shaft that said “high trajectory” and wasn’t sure how the shaft would have much to do with that, nor am I sure if that’s what I really want in my 3w.

Don’t worry about sound or feel. Worry about ball flight, distance and accuracy. Buying clubs like this off the rack is really a crap shoot. Do yourself a favor and go get fitted. There are many more adjustments to your driver that can be made to optimize performance. The number on Trackman never lie.

Taylormade has gone to shite since this new group bought the company. The CGs on the drivers are all over the place. Their quality of components is really in the shitter now. I would try adding loft to it before giving up.

Ksouth9 has been accused of selling fake shite on Golfwrx a few times. Wouldn't buy from him.

You could very well be right. Since your 910D2 driver technology has been working towards lowering spin. Lots of people have had to loft up with the newer technology drivers.

ETA: 8.5 is pretty low loft for like 95% of golfers too. I say that without knowing anything about your swing though. But you need a high swing speed

Mine is only 100mph. But my 9.5 was skying up every time. That’s why I tried the 8.5

When? I've seen plenty of people on wrx vouche for Ksouth9 / quickshipgolf and never seen anyone accuse them of selling fakes.

Ksouth9 is Alabama Discount Golf in Tuscaloosa. They been around live and online forever. Would bet everything I could stand to lose it's not a fake. I've bought tour issue Taylormade stuff from them before and sold it to others on wrx with no problems.

Absolutely not a fake.

I've bought several clubs from ksouth9/quickshipgolf and never had any issues with their legitimacy.

I have a Taylormade 3 iron being delivered tomorrow from them

I've seen it posted on the boards there. I don't know who he/she is or where they're located. Was just passing on information that I'd read.

I've been on their site before and they have good prices. Too many other places that I've bought gear from that weren't accused of selling fakes.

Maybe don't buy drivers off of eBay next time.
