Looking for a spot for 12 guys close to BR, don't mind an 4-6 hour drive. Any new ideas?

Looking at Mobile, Birmingham, Dancing Rabbit within that distance. I'm not familiar with Northern Mississippi. PGA Frisco is 6 1/2 hours

Grand National (RTJ trail) to Capital Hill (RTJ trail) to Cambrian Ridge (RTJ trail) then back home. Looks like September/October would be a good time with all of the maintenance completed at least a month prior. You can check maintenance schedules on the RTJ website.

7 hours to Hot Springs Village.
Worth a look....for sure.

I live in bham and you could have a great golf trip here. I’d do ross bridge, farm links for sure. If you have connections to try and get on BCC, Shoal Creek or old Overton that could round out your courses. Otherwise could play highland park or the other RTJ courses.
In Mississippi I’d go down to the beau and play fallen oak or head to West Point for old waverly/mossy. Depends on what your crew wants to do. If they want gambling and action do the beau, if you want just pure, great golf I’d do waverly/mossy. Starkville is 15 minutes from waverly so if you wanted to do a football game or baseball series in the spring would be fun. My friends and I will do that once or twice a year for baseball weekends. Take Friday off, play waverly then head to the Friday night game. Wake up and play mossy oak Saturday morning then head to the afternoon game Saturday
I don’t know much about mobile or Arkansas area golf. I do go up to my friends lake house in Greers ferry Arkansas and we play some courses around there but they are not great

Greens should be in good shape for you. They punched waverly last week I believe

Pine Dunes is a nice spot for a budget trip.

Man, that's the toughest golf course I've ever played. It's beautiful, closest thing to Augusta you can play around these parts, tall pines with manicured pine straw under them, the greens are amazingly undulating and you can be in the middle of the fairway and have some tough lies but it was fun and a true challenge of golf. If you're man enough, play the tips, it's only a little over 7500 yards

Done Waverly/ Mossy Oak the past 4 years for a full weekend
Cant recommend enough
Fairly inexpensive, nice lodging, 2 fantastic golf courses that are vastly different from each other (Mossy is one of my favorite courses in the southeast)

I try to get up there every year or so. It’ll definitely test your entire game

We love doing the Biloxi area trip because it’s a short distance and full of great courses. Grand bear, preserve, fallen oak.

We go on a trip to Black Bear in Delhi. That place is great. Food is great and everything is right there. Highly recommend.

Honestly if I’m making a trip to Mystic just for golf than I am gonna somehow work an angle to get on Squire and probably BDCC as well. I guess if you really wanted to do it you could toss in Calvert and that Black Bear course in Delhi. We did this a few years ago. It was fun.
