Apparently they have no issues building the same basic premise, on land that floods, less than a mile from an established competitor.

Wow, that’s crazy.
Getting in and out that place is trouble. And yes it floods fairly often.

I can already tell I’d enjoy that place more than Top Golf

Mean while, drive shack in Nola is looking more and more like Jazzland.

Now that is knee deep in law suits, wonder if they will get out from under them and finish the build out.

What do they know that nobody else does? They’re doing 400k of prep work before building on that site which means moving a HELLuva lot of dirt. Funny that it’ll be a mile or so from Top Golf.

That's $400k for drainage lol.

Does this offer anything different than Top Golf? I clicked through the website and I honestly think the pictures could have been from a Top Golf.

Honestly I would love a place that was a regular range with a bar and TVs at the bar. Buy a bucket of beers and you get a complimentary small bucket of balls.

If this place tracks ball speed, carry distance, club head speed or anything like that, I’m instantly going there instead of top golf

You sure? Every time I try and go to Top Golf we end up giving up due to a 5 hour wait.

Last time we got there at 1 pm and they literally texted us at 8 pm saying our bay was open. By that time we had ate lunch, bowled, ate dinner, and went home.

I think it will. Baton Rouge for its size has the worst availability of golf courses/driving ranges of any major city in the US. There are literally 2 places to hit balls off grass. LSU which is ??, and legacy which is worse. The Baton Rouge golf scene is absolutely depressing!

Fuk that they’ll make bank on the spillover from TG. That’s why they want to be close. TG average wait after 5pM on weekdays day is 2 hours . Don’t even try to go Fri-Sun wo $100 reservations.
