Golf without Tiger is like NASCAR without Dale Earnhardt. And you see where NASCAR is

I watched all day. Only because Tiger was in the hunt. The first time in a long time I watched a round of golf. I only watch when the man called Tiger is in the hunt to win.

The fat black guy with the beard who ESPN pushes in their Tiger coverage is legitimately the worst person on television

I watch the majors, but I prefer to watch these guys grind out pars instead of watching birdie fests. If the majority of the leaderboard is under -10, then the course isn't challenging enough.

9 out of 156 players were at -10 or better.
The course was softer because of the rains earlier in the week and on Friday... these guys will absolutely go after the pins in soft conditions whether they are at Augusta, Pebble, or Bellerive.

I thought the course played great. If you hit from the fairways the balls stopped pretty easily. If you were playing from the rough, the balls were releasing quite a bit.

Even the winner Koepka had back to back bogeys on the front 9 when he missed 2 fairways.

But why? My wife and I were talking about it watching the final round. Everyone knows that Tiger is a giant a-hole and a total piece of shite yet people flock to watch him, including me. Why?

They are going to talk about Tiger ad nauseam anyway. At least if he is in the hunt they will show him playing golf, instead of showing him hitting balls on the range talking about why he isn't in the hunt.

All Tiger Woods did was get caught. Otherwise, I don't think he's more a pos than any other celebrity.

I don't mind that tiger had sex outside marriage so much as I do that he has no self control on the course.
Maybe it's therapeutic but I tire of his theatrics.

For me the most interesting thing is that he's still hitting all out.
I imagine that much of his physical history is related to how he generates power.
I thought he would retool, maybe keep the ball in the fairway more.
