I would recommend Chris Burkhalter at The Island in Plaquemine.

Burky is great.. He’s been working with my daughter for a while now. Would definitely recommend.
Come to think of it Burky I could use a lesson myself

Sorry to hijack your post but I didn't want to start a new post on the same topic.
Any recommendations for an instructor in the Nola area?

I see Brian recommended a LOT and everyone says he's one of the best, if not THE best.
TL;DR: I went to him a few months ago and now my 7 iron goes maybe 135yds. My swing is completely cooked.
I tried to practice and grind everything I could remember from the lesson. He gave me no drills. After about 6 weeks of practicing multiple times a week, I reached out to him and told him that these changes are kicking my arse, can you send me a drill or two? He left me on read. Pretty bitter about that, $300 and 3 months later.
I'm not sure if I had a rare unfortunate experience, but I felt compelled to share my experience because what I personally got is not what was advertised.

We get absolutely hosed on golf instruction in this area. There are so few pros and the prices are astronomical.
A couple of weeks ago I went out to Phoenix and took a lesson from fricking Tom Lehman’s son for $125. Also was given a discount on my round for booking the lesson online.
Nobody anywhere around here can offer that kind of deal. This is such a wasteland for golf
God bless the few pros we have
