I feel like we all have those friends… they start hitting it crooked and all of a sudden their shoulder or back is plaguing them that day. Am I the only one that has these buddies? lol

On course injuries actually improve my ball striking. Makes me a smoother swinger

Sounds like a regular round of golf to me. Seems like every round something hinders me. Also the fact that most courses run the mowers the wrong way so the grain is in the opposite direction and they have too many trees in the way.

I remember starting a round at The Links and telling the foursome that my should may not let me finish, but would ride it out whether I could play or not. I was standing on 13 tee 3 under. That's when my handicap woke up and brought me back down to Earth.

Yep, got a buddy that is no matter wat going to start talking about his back pain while warming up so when he starts to hit them sideways it's because his back is killing him. He'll stretch and hold his back after most tee shots.

I've had two back surgeries so I can sympathize with those that have back pain, I deal with it daily. He only seems to have it on the golf course.

I'm that guy. My L4 and L5 are squished like a beer can, and I'm just delaying surgery as long as I can. All days it hurts, but some are worse than others. When I make a bad swing it really lights me up. So yea, when I'm playing bad I start bitching about my back

yes, beware of the injured golfer

I'm post microdiscectomy L5-S1

Very little effect from the swing. It's making myself execute a full swing knowing that the other side of the disc can herniate at any given moment

Alcohol is essential

When you’re old, all the guys you play with are as old or older, everyone finishing 18 is a bonus.
