Driver tips

What is your swing feel when you hit driver? I keep struggling. I’ve worked on the over the top move etc. Majorly inconsistent. I played 18 today. First hole nice drive, straight and long . Rest of the day a struggle save about 3 other holes. I’m not getting enough power, hitting it about 180. I know it’s impossible to say without a video of said swing, but I guess I’m asking did anybody have a light bulb go off on the feel in the swing?

A few drills that I have found helpful for learning a true swing.
1. Feet together drill: you’d be surprised how your body can self organize and you can strike the ball with your feet close together.

2. Reverse the loop: Jess Frank has a good video of this.

3. Work with a teaching pro once a quarter just to have a pro look at your swing.

There are 13 other clubs. Use one of those
When my left arm gets parallel to the ground at the end of the takeaway, I’m shifting my pressure left and hitting the ball. Video shows the swing being much longer but that’s what I have to feel.

I'm old and my driver swing keys have changed so much over the years. As you age, you will lose some strength, some dexterity, some flexibility and your golf swing will have to adapt as well.
To clear my hips now, I use a more open stance. Hopefully, others will respond with some tips that will fit you for now. In the meantime, here's some golf inspiration.
Freddie's swing is by no means textbook, but it's like watching golf poetry. The other two links (to the KLPGA golfers), appear to do everything right.

Wide as possible backswing. I also like to tuck my left shoulder underneath my chin on the backswing. Just make sure the first foot or so of your back swing, the club goes straight back vs whipping it immediately inside and getting stuck.
Downswing: Feel like you are keeping your back to the target for as long as possible, vs trying to rush the downswing with arms.
Downswing should be started with the lower body, generating ground force, and if it's sequenced correctly, you should create a ton of lag and barely feel like you are swinging the club/releasing the club, etc. The ball should just be getting in the way vs trying to actively hit it and steer it down a fairway.
