How do you set up for either?

Do you try to hit your stock shot all the time so you only have one miss?

When I’m playing my best golf I’m hitting a slight fade and I hit it whenever possible. I set up normally just aim a clubhead left and let it fade in naturally.

Some days I can’t seem to naturally hit it and then I actually play a draw with my irons because it’s a shot I know I can pull off if I try. If I try and hit a fade it becomes a horrible slice

Yes.

I draw it or fade it depending on the situation. It wasn’t until I got a Qi10 LS head as a warranty replacement that was a issue, picked up a 2-way miss for the first time in 30 years because the damn thing wants to correct it. Needless to say it’s in a buddy’s bag who likes to just hit it straight.

It’s really better to have a stock shot though, best pros have a baby fade they hit probably 90% of the time.

Fade with driver. Draw with pretty much everything else.

Same. Driver fade. Draw fairway woods and irons. I can draw the driver by closing the face, but it’s not consistent.

All I know, is IF I aim at trouble, I hit it dead straight.

I prefer a fade. Seem to be able to find most of those. The miss stays in bounds. With a draw, my miss is an 83 degree pull hook that is head high and left of left.

I play whatever I am hitting on the range before the round.

Draw and I hate it.

Tried for years to hit a fade, just doesn't work.

Same. I can't hit a fade, I usually just end up thinning the shite out of it. I don't hate the draw as I worked most of my life to hit that shot, but the misses with a draw are WAY worse than with a fade. My miss is a massive straight/pull hook that goes off the planet

Yep, pretty much a lower, boring draw. Would love to hit a tight, high fade, just can’t do it…

I'd bet it's an alignment issue with your shoulders being too open to the rest of your target line. I still feel closed after I line up and still swing in to out. Just the club face relative to start line is more open. Most folks open shoulders way too much and swipe across the ball

A fade if I’m hitting it good with my natural swing. A remnant of an occasional wicked slice I corrected when I was younger.

Fade.

When it's super hot and my hands get sticky my miss is a draw with my woods. Causes my clubface to close too much.

Pick a line on the left side of the fairway and start it off there if it's straight away. Lineup with my feet and shoulders, not with my clubhead. With my irons, my 8i-SW have very little draw so I'm almost going dead at it with those and then increasing how far out I am as I go through my 7i-4i.

Pretty much. If I need a draw off the tee I normally go with my 3 wood or hybrid because I can work them easier than my driver.

Same here, and I can't draw my current driver with any consistency. I have to go 3W if I need to draw off the tee.

I don't try to draw my irons, my setup & swing naturally supports a baby draw. I can fade the longer irons but I struggle to fade the shorter clubs.

Mostly a fade with a sick double cross pull hook mixed in to keep me on my toes.

To really execute the double cross, I need a boundary or a hazard left.

Then I can rip it left of left when aligning for a fade off the left half of the fairway.

It depends. And I'm not really sure what it depends on

That's been my problem lately. Trouble left and lots of room right? No problem, instead of the normal gentle fade, time to pull hook it way left.
