I keep hearing great reports from some fitters as to how long and forgiving this new driver is.
Has anyone bought one or tried it on the course ir range yet ?
I picked up a new Cobra Optim Driver yesterday after hitting it in the net.
I hope to hit it on the course tomorrow (Tuesday 6/2).
I can already tell that I like the sound of it.

I bought the Cobra optm X driver. Absolutely love it.
I used to go back and forth from my Titleist TSR3 driver and the Cobra, and I’m full time Cobra now.

Have you found it to be forgiving and neutral bias?

Very forgiving. With the future fit 33 function I have it set to draw bias (F1 or F2).
I have a Project X Denali 60g, 6.0 stiff shaft on it.

Do they have a sub 460cc driver head similar to the Ping LST line?

They do have a LS spin model along with a good looking mini driver.

I bought this beauty yesterday.
I got a 10.5 with a Kai Li Blue shaft in it. I don't know much about the shaft and I always have a Ventus Red VC as backup.
I really like to powerful sound it makes. Hope to try it out tomorrow on the course. Really nice looking clubhead, compact looking.

Any updates on the new Cobra?

After two rounds, I absolutely love this driver.
Definitely eliminates the left side, but it doesn't want to slice either. A very straight hitting driver for me .
On two different par 5's , I hit my drive to a point in the fairway that I haven't hit in a few years distance wise.
Love the sound. It sounds like you crushed the ball.
Best of all, when you set it down behind the ball, it doesn't look like a shovel.

To this day, the longest driver I've ever hit. Was fresh out of high school and was bombing this thing like 300+ with ease. Only problem was it would normally be like 40 or 50 yards left or right and I had no idea which one. Only Cobra I've ever owned.
Wouldn't mind hitting the Optim.

Straight hitting is the first thing from most fitters I talk to.
It's a given that it is a long hitter driver.

Literally I walked in today looking at the ping G440k but wanted to get fitted. My old driver is old enough to vote and really wasn’t for me I just never took the time to try another one.
I hit the 440k, felt good but wasn’t dialed, and the new taylormade just didn’t work.
I wanted consistency and the Cobra OPTM just worked for me. Mostly it has a lot of adjustment as per the fitter. I’m not a golf geek and never even heard of them.
I wanted to hit fairways and this driver just worked. I’ll gain 10-15 yards it seems, I’ll need to hit the range or a quick 9 soon to see.

There are no miracle clubs out there for sure.
This club so far has helped me eliminate the left side and that's a big plus for me.
