Shot even par twice a couple years ago when I was around a 3hcp.
70 Pelican Point Lakes course
72 Santa Maria (was -5 thru 14…)
Had many 73’s but never broken the even par barrier and it might never happen since I play a lot less now

I’ve found that I can shoot in the 30s on 9 way more than I break 80 on 18.
Best 9 was one under. I went home.
Rarely do I go 39/39, but last week I went 40/39.
I’ve turned in 36 only to see the north side of 80 overall.
Golf is hard.

79….adjusted
It was really an 80, but I couldn’t take an 8 on a par 4. Handicap 13.

76 multiple times. Two stand out that were somewhat interesting.
First: Alex CC. Shot 43 on the front. I tossed my driver in the back of the truck and then shot 33 on the back with a 3 wood.
Second: Links on the Bayou. I am -3 standing in the middle of 13 fairway. I push a 3 wood that I should never have pulled OB. What that did to my head was something I could not get over. So, from -3 to +4 in 5 holes after being bogey free for 12.

81 at a beautiful little track called Webb Park.
One of those lucky days in the middle of the summer where the ball never found the culvert and if you hit a bomb down the middle it might bounce of the fairway like it hit a cart path.
Needed par on 18 for 79 and made double.
Surprised not to see more posts from you guys who are actually good not having a low round there, I’d like to go back and play it now to see how easy it would feel.

74 - Kapalua, Bay Course, on Maui. I was wearing tennis shoes and using rented clubs. Almost everything went right that day. One bad putt and one bad stroke away from even par. I think I was an 11 at the time.

My lowest score was a 73 at a military course in Japan many years ago.
Personally, I think my best round was a 74 at the Air Force Academy Eisenhower Blue course designed by Robert Trent Jones.

77 on old city park course in NOLA. No index at the time but it was the shorter course and everything just came together

No lie dude. I shot an 80 at Webb Park when I was 17.
I’m 58 now and still looking forward to the day I break 80. Ha!
Shot a nice 82 at Frenchman’s Bend yesterday. Triple bogie on 14th par 5 hole screwed me over.
Oh well, still love this damn game.

62 on an easy course (lots of short par 4's and 5's) and a 67 on a legit course par 72, 7,000 yard course.

-1/71 at Braithwaite CC - handicap was about a 3 (mid 1970's)
-1/71 at Pelican Point (original 18) - handicap was about 5 - around 2009
-2/70 at Santa Maria - handicap was around 5 - around 2010 or 2011
-1/71 at Stonebridge (Gretna) - handicap was around 5 - 2011
Lots of under par 9 hole rounds

Today was the day for a PR
1 had a temporary green I didn’t even see and I hit to where the green normally is..cost me big
Missed a 2’ putt for par on 16
Bright spot was everyone who played today got to take advantage of a non advertised Pro V1 sale in the clubhouse…$24/dozen limit 4 so I definitely bought 4

Okay, shot my career low yesterday but because the front was soaked I had to play the back twice...does it count?
IDC what anyone says, I'm claiming it anyway. I would have gone career low on the moon yesterday.
Only three real issues I had on the course were 2 chips that just hit soft spots leaving me real low chances of a make-able putt for par and I under-hit my 52 on an uphill shot on 18. Definitely my best GIR day of all time.
Amazing how that works, much easier to go low when you hit fairways and greens.
