Nice. Did it a few times years ago. Haven’t done it yet since I started playing again. A few 81’s.

I am happy for you but envious, I have shot 80 at least 20+ times without breaking it. Let’s see what happens at 7am tomorrow with the nice early morning weather

First time breaking 80 feels great and is a good accomplishment. Congrats
Now all you're gonna want to do is break par. That's where I'm currently at

Congrats my man!

Finally getting back to consistently playing again and just joined a new club here in NELA. I'm just trying to break 90

Then when you break par you want to shoot in 60s. It never stops. You always want more. I’ve shot 70 3 times in my life. 69 just wont happen. I find a way to screw it up every chance I get.

Congrats man. I am "happy" for you (aka insanely jealous because I have shot 80/81 many times but can't break through to the 79)

Congrats!
Frame dat scorecard baw! May be awhile before it happens again.
I’ve broken 80 once years ago with a 76. Low 80’s ever since.
Son picked up the game about 2 years ago. He made a 60’ eagle putt on the 18 hole to shoot 79 recently.
Practice more, don’t over think it, it will happen again...

Grats, shooting in the 70s feels good, and makes you think you are finally getting good!!

I shot a 79 (41,38) at Greensboro National Saturday... had a triple too..

My lowest round is a 75 at a the Lexington Golf Club. Was feeling it that day, and got lucky a few times.

I've shot in the 70s about 7 or 8 times now.

I can easily shoot a 90 as well.

That's golf. You never know when parts of your game will leave you.
