Is Chris Burkstaller still over at The Island? If so that would be my suggestion.

don't worry about getting lessons too much, just get out there and find what works best for you. An instructor is going to teach you something that has worked for them, which may not always be the case for you and your swing type.

Indeed he is. He didn't show up in time to see the bomb I hit on 8, but he also didn't get to see me make X from there

Might be a stupid question, but do you have to be a member of a club to take lessons from the head pro?

I've heard yes and no.

How is Gamon Manne'?

Gamon is a GREAT teacher...of ball striking, not sure about his short game.

And NO you do not need to be a member to get lessons from him.

ETA: if Blaine Patin is at CCLA you need to make an appointment with him RIGHT NOW! No joke, I had the lefts going for two weeks, he takes one look at me and boom, nothing but straight, ended up finishing top 10 in a tournament because of him!

Don't be stupid. You know I'm not Travis Coxe. I firmly believe in his teaching. Is something inherently wrong with that?
