Any relation to former SMU QB and Favre backup Jude Chatelain?

Based on the ghin.com lookup, Scott Ayers has the best handicap on anyone mentioned so far, and by a lot.

His ghin is as realistic as me winning the masters.

ETA: although I have shot a 59 once...

The answer to this will always be Phil Schmitt. Until he quits.

Not including former pros right? Because Scott Sterling is up there if you include them.

Used to hang out at his house as a kid. His daughter and my sister were close friends and we'd all walk across the street to their house after school (EHS).

Gayle used to give me all these old clubs he no longer wanted, mainly wedges, putters, and fairway woods. Would show me the proper way to chip in his back yard while he chainsmoked

Great guy.

And his daughter is one of my best friends in Nashville! Her husband (Wade's SIL) is my regular golfing partner in our money game.

Small world. Wade is hilarious and very good at golf.
