Seems like a rockstar. I’m really looking forward to how nice the course is next spring.

Great. On the back end of the aerating. Holding approach shots and speeds are fast. Course is in great shape other than a couple hard bunkers.

Greystone’s greens are healing, but they’re still bumpy and unpredictable. They did finally sand the aeration holes this week.

Club championship started today. With a roll and lower cut this morning, they were really nice. Could have used that extra week or two but zero complaints. The course is fantastic.

What’s the current playing status of Santa Maria? Beaver Creek still holding up better?

It was brought up in here that beaver aerated August 10th. You saying they did again, or it’s just still noticeable from almost 4 weeks ago? Playing there on Labor Day so just curious

It must have been a follow up. I've played there a couple of times since they first aerated in early August and it was in fantastic shape.

Was out there yesterday (9/2). Greens on the front still a bit bumpy. Greens on the back have sand. Playable, but not top-notch.

They also punched the fairways a few days ago. Didn't really seem to impact the ball much.

Played SM yesterday afternoon (9/4). The greens were slow, bumpy and the holes themselves look like they have not been moved or cut for weeks. Dead grass around them and rounded out. They were bad enough that the club house should have told us how bad they were.

Email BREC and tell them how poorly maintained it is.

Beaver in good shape. Greens still recovering from aeration. Probably another week and they will be nice

Second Santa Maria. Not sure what’s going on. One hole had dead grass surrounding it as if the hole had been in the same location for weeks

Haven't played SM in a while but I practice there often. Whole practice facility has been atrocious all season relative to BC. Noticed the washed out holes a couple days ago as well.

I am not sure what is going on at Santa Maria, but the overall course conditions have been going downhill the past few months. Holes haven't been moved, tall grass, tee boxes not mowed and full of divots, greens are hit or miss, etc. With the money they get from tax dollars and the money they earn at the course we should get a better product in South Baton Rouge (St George)

Good. I'm going to play out there this weekend.
