I’m the exact opposite

Don’t know the courses, players, lackluster environment. I usually watch two minutes then turn it off

I watch long enough to see a bunch of no names on the leaderboard then change the channel. I’ve watched a couple of times when Martin Kaymer was trying to win again.

It feels like the quality of player had decreased over the last 5+ years. Hardly any of the top euros play events anymore unless it’s their premier events. Even a lot of the best South American players don’t seem to play it very often.

There was a golden era 5-7 years ago when great young guys like Koepka were on the Euro tour as a conduit to grow into the PGA tour. Maybe the Korn Ferry has gained as it has declined, not sure.

It’s still better than nothing I agree, especially if you have screaming kids on the weekend mornings.

I like watching it but my only issue is the types of shots that show. I feel like 90% of the shots I see are putts

Nothing like an insomniac night, and wake up at 2 am to The Open Championship on for a 5-6 hour broadcast.

Looked like they were playing next to an asphalt parking lot this morning. Were they?

I get up earlier than everyone else in the house so Me and the dog watch when I’m drinking coffee. Those announcers give way less shits than pga announcers

Their courses are usually in weird spots, remember one in the middle east was in a walled compound, they showed it a couple times on drone shots or something but definitely a different world on the other side of the wall

Yes I always watch Sat/Sun before I play. To the poster who stated the players aren’t good u need to watch more. Also some of the courses are really tough.
