i played 9 yesterday and shot a 42 with a triple on the 9th hole. I have noticed the last few times a played and walked that I was much more consistent with everything from driving to putting when I am carrying my bag. I know this is just a post that popped into my head and sorry for posting it, but not having real golf to talk about is driving me nuts.

walking gives me time to talk myself out of doing something stupid on the next shot

I definitely do. I dislike riding so much that it's probably to the detriment of my golf game.

I’m more relaxed walking. The game flows better. By time I get to my ball it’s time to hit.

I play better waking, assuming I'm in walking shape. Sometimes I'll get tired of carrying/walking and the swing suffers. But assuming I'm in walking shape, I definitely play better.

If it’s 100 degrees outside I’m sure I would suffer if walking too. Haha

I play better for the first 12 holes and then I get tired. I’m a fat arse.

Unless you have to ride, walking is the only way to play golf IMO friend.

I walk almost every round.

I find when I ride, my rhythm can get a bit fast at times.

What pisses me off is that the group I can play with on Friday afternoons won't let me walk because they are in full sprint even though it wouldn't slow their pace down by much.

a lot of places in Europe only give you cart with a doctor's note.

Today, I was even par until 13. Bad decisions fricked me.

Walking and carrying the bag? Cheers to you. I like cup holders. I do like when it’s cart path only sometimes so I can walk up to the shot.

Walked and carried my bag 18 holes on the south course today, by the 14th hole I was tired, but I did shoot an eagle on 16.
