May be an odd question.... but I need some recs on shorts with about an 8” inseam. Preferably in a “performance” material.

I’ve searched around, but have a feeling I may be missing some brands. 9” and 10” shorts are at my knees and it’s bearable when it’s cold (actually hate it), but I can’t stand it when it’s hot. Appreciate it!

Would highly recommend JCrew Gramercy Tech short. Just bought 3 pair for golf and they have a perfect fit for me.

Also, JCrew factory site has them at 70% off now. Absolutely worth a try.

If you are willing to go to 7", there are some on Amazon Goodthreads brand that aren't bad.

I'm in the same boat. I'm struggling to find 8".

I like the Gramercy Tech too, BUT they only have 1 back pocket, which drives me up a wall. They also wrinkle incredibly easy. Very thin material. I believe they come in 7 or 9 inch inseam. I go with the 9, and they seem to be shorter than most.

I just recently bought some shorts from 32 degrees, and I've been very pleased. The were like $15 a pair. 9 inch inseam.

Yea the 1 back pocket thing was annoying at first, but I only put my glove back there while playing so it's not horrible.

And of course I put my glove in my back left pocket, which unfortunately, does not exist on these shorts.

I just come across some under armour shorts at Cabellas - they are fishing type shorts. They also have 8 and 10” inseem.
I usually also use Walter Hagen shorts from Dicks

This

But, I have to say All In Motion at Target is incredible and inexpensive performance golf shirts, shorts, and pants. They are exactly like Lululemon. Check it out.

This is the correct answer. Ebay is your friend, you can often find them for cheap.

I have found so many Vineyard Vine performance shorts and shirts on eBay. Right now on Vineyard Vines website they are having a sale. Performance Breakers are $36 using the code.

I bought a pair of golf shorts from Target a few weeks ago and they are amazing ultra-light performance material, and I think the inseam is 8". They were on sale for 20, but normally run 30. insanely comfortable and a modern fit.

Those are the All In Motion. Their golf pants are awesome as well. I actually prefer them over my Vineyard Vines performance golf pants. They seem to fit better and I love the 5 pockets.
