I thought new rule was had to be visible with naked eye. Seems like this was caught in zoomed in camera.

That's why I'm not in favor of video "evidence". It's impossible to have a camera record every shot of every player in a tournament.

WTH. Do any of you play golf? You can’t ground club in a trap. Ever. It’s a penalty.

It wasn’t a noticeable ground to anyone with the naked eye. They needed video replay to see it. For anyone who plays outside of a major tour with these kinds of camera shots, it’s not a penalty. In other words 99.999% of golf rounds.

I do t think it is was intentional, but that doesn’t matter. He broke a rule and should be penalized.

Yeah, it is kinda like the equal protection act. Only those that are playing well get videoed while chops could damn near be bumping it and get away with it.
