Come to Texas. We haven't had more than 20 minutes of rain in a day in 2 months. A lot of fairways out here look like Scottish courses, they just don't play like them.

Our group has tried to play Lakewood four out of the last five weekends and we've received a rain check four times. I'm not sure we'll ever go back.

This is nothing... did everyone forget how bad it was last year? 2021 was the like the third highest rainfall total in Louisiana in history. I remember there was a stretch last year for about 2 months I did not get to warm up on the range once before a round because it was always closed from rain. Carts were off path almost every day.

ETA: April, May and June last year were all 2x-3x more than average rainfall totals. Courses here in Lafayette were unplayable a lot of the time.

Silver lining of all this rain is that, with carts on path a lot, fairways are plush.

We got no rain during the growing season. Now, it’s nonstop. Oh well. It could be worse.

Can I book hood group at my club here in Houston so you can bring the rain? Seriously there are ball-eating turf cracks out there

My last three rounds have all been cart path only. The front 9 at the oaks is absolutely soaked. I legit think at some point soon they’ll need to close it for a few days to let it dry out and cut it.

Up here in north ga it’s been raining a good bit the last two weeks. Course I usually play is pretty firm and fast most of the time. Today was the slowest it’s ever played for me and the rough the nastiest.

Hate to do the lame plug but we have been off the cart path almost every day at the Island and the greens are back. Come check us out!

Try standing on a ladder

Long story short, it’s moisture that falls from the clouds.
