That #16 par3 looked brutal. Pulling for strafaci obviously back to back GT winners would be something

Love this tournament. The emotion you saw from the finalists after they were reminded they were going to the US Open and, especially, The Masters, was awesome. They are overwhelmed just to be able to go play some more tournaments where they can't win any money. These guys will likely turn pro eventually, and a few of them will be on the PGA Tour, but right now they're playing for nothing more than history. It's really fun to watch.

Imagine getting beat to death all week in that wind and playing another 36 tomorrow.

Just the mental tax of that is incredible.

I really believe this is the hardest golf tournament on the planet.

Not sure if logistically it could happen but a major jere would be so good. Imagine the greens and surrounds firmer and quicker.

I was wondering that. Seems like it could be a fun US Open venue and you have to think this tournament is a test in some ways by the USGA?

Not sure logistically like you said but got to imagine that plot of land is very open and would be conducive.

I say logistically as in it’s in middle of nowhere. They talked about Erin Hills being far from major cities and it’s not far from Milwaukee.

It would have worked this year with no crowds or not as much media. So maybe one day it could be done.

I just read an awesome sit down article with Jack Nicklaus, he said he holds his us ams up there with any major or tournament he has ever won and they are probably his favorite wins.

Did yall see that meltdown on the 18th of the US am semi? Poor kid couldn't get out of that brutal looking fairway bunker. Plugged the lip twice before getting out. Shitty way to lose it on the last hole.

That is impossible.
