I'm submitting a request for monetary donation from Dick's sporting goods corporate.
Anyone want to help me plan this out?

How much should I ask for?
Is free entry for everyone too much to ask? ~$2650.
How about a free case of beer for everyone that attends? ~$850
Sleeve of Snell's? ~$420

hmmm...
Type of Opportunity:
Awards or celebratory banquet
Equipment
Facility support
Financial support
Sports camp or sports development program
Sports Tournament
Team fundraiser or other team event
Youth development program

On purchased balls, Vice golf will print event logos for free.

Called Mockler and Crescent Crown.
We'll see if we get any bites.

Nothing’s wrong. I’m out of town most of the following week and need to stay closer to home that weekend. Hopefully I’ll be playing 4 days at BRCC too. Just not a good time to be out of pocket for an entire Sunday.

Yes. I still want to play.
I'm not the sponsor of this event or anything, but I do feel an obligation to everyone that signed up and to LaTour to ensure all the details are finalized.
Plus, it was the Overwhelming favorite location. SO, why wouldn't I want to play a round there?

The rain forecast is only like 30-40% in the afternoon. Which in Louisiana usually means overcast, a bit cooler temps, and maybe a slight rain here and there. I'm not going to let that stop me.

Only consideration is that the LaTour website requires 2-4 people to sign up. And I'm still just a single.
Porky did mention wanting to play as well, but I don't have a tee time to give him.

Like I said before, a tee time between 9:30 and 11:30 works best for me. I can leave the house between 7-9 and be home for 5:30.
I'd be glad to have your company if you want to play!

Sweet!
I contacted the LaTour pro. He may not be able to play the round with us, but we're going to have a meeting to finalize everything.

Course is in good shape, native grasses recently cut down and greens were true just a little slower than normal but not bad. No wind today was a good thing.

85 with a couple bad holes and off day putting, missed a slew inside 6 ft. I’ll take it with the little I’ve been playing. Enjoyed the round with Mahootney and the club manager.

This is the new normal. You won’t see them like old latour this year. We are just a year from the course being minimum maintained for a couple of years. It takes a lot of time to get them like they were. But we also may never see them like that again . Being they trying to turn a profit and dumb shite like that.
