Spieth missed a 15-inch putt for par on 15. Dude needs a sports shrink in the worst way. He’s losing it.

Yep, they were talking last week about him. He admitted that he’s having trouble being comfortable over the ball. That’s nuts.

He plays Dallas National a lot more than Trinity he says but he’s a member at both. I want to play this course, I’m a links fan and it looks cool as hell to me.

Never played a bad Coore/Crenshaw course, they seem to be links/natural land of golf fans after Sand Hills, Bandon Trails, Cabot Cliffs, Austin CC, etc. They seem to love to work around what’s laid out in front of them like Doak IMO, nothing fake and man made, which makes a golf course designer special.

I can see where PGA would be Leary of courses like this. They are not very photogenic. Take a Winged Foot and it looks great on video.
As most of the Open courses don’t look all that great in video.
Hopefully they will build more courses like this for public play. Trying to get my game good enough for Bandon and make a trip there.
