Is Oceanhorn2 only on Apple or some other platform?

If you want some Zelda clones on Switch, give Darksiders 1 and 2 a look. They unabashedly mimic Zelda's gameplay design, but are set in a post apocalyptic world in the middle of a battle between heaven and hell.

Not to derail the thread but how is Links Awakening?

I am having a lot of fun playing it. I wasn't sure about the artwork at first, but it makes it much more enjoyable. I had a lot more time during the holidays to play than I do now, but it seemed like I was beating it quicker than I thought it would take.

Yeah, I probably worded that incorrectly. I meant how it looked like claymation. That aspect of it made the game better for me now that I've played it.

This year wouldn’t surprise me. Like others have said it sounds like it will use the same engine/continuation of the story so they’re not building it from the ground up. Which I’m thrilled with.

I hope so. I hope they don't wait until Christmas. If Dec. then release a remake of twilight princess beforehand.

A review of Links Awakening from someone that played the original and about all Zelda games. The beginning was slow it gets going. I think it is more staged for kids.

Thanks for the suggestions. I take back my Zelda links awakening Switch review, it somehow manages to get much better.

My kids just got Switch and we've been playing BOTW. it's been a long time since I played any game besides Mario Kart very much, and I'm finding BOTW to be very difficult ever since we glided down from the Grand Plateau.

I see videos of people fighting those Lynels or whatever, and I can't understand how we are going to get from where we are now to being able to fight like that.

I die all the time, even just to regular bad guys with spiked clubs. Also seems like I'm always out of arrows or losing my favorite weapon.

Did y'all use the internet to figure out how to do stuff or just learned by trial and error?

ETA:. I absolutely love the game. The expansiveness is like nothing I've ever played.
I've just been surprised by the difficulty. The Grand Plateau was so comfortable and easy once I figured it out.

Links awakening is great

I'm playing whatever Zelda games I can get my hands on. BOTW was my first. Played through LoZ and got stuck in the final dungeon and never did finish it. Just beat ALttP which was amazing. Played Zelda 2 for a couple of hours and gave up. Now I'm through 2 dungeons of Link's Awakening. It's a fun one for sure and I'm glad to be back in the top down format after that Zelda 2 bullshite lol

BOTW is the GOAT. The losing weapons part sucked. I hope BOTW2 doesn't do this. There is nothing wrong with looking up a walk through. I would have never found out what to cook to stay warm/cold whatever if I hadn't. Some things you have to read a walkthrough and watch it on video to get. With that said I loved wondering around hunting with the alert going off to find shrines.

I guess a clone of BOTW is being released in 2020 as well.

Don't worry it'll come, in the meantime enjoy the difficulty, because when you're unbeatable later in the game you'll really miss the challenge and excitement of fighting for your life.

I am up by the egg. Made it through all but the last boss that comes as many I beat them all then one that swings a round deadly thing has me baffled.
