If you're picking between those 2, go affliction warlock.
That being said, take 15 hours and level up a balance druid. They are ridiculously fun and not bad dps.

Warlock, just more fun overall IMO.
I'm pretty excited for next week. Kind of like others have said I don't miss expansions even if they don't hold me for as long as they used to.

got all 100 or 110 gear on my frost mage, probably won't do it on any others

I have about 100IL on all my guys with the exception of 2 - but they are like my 5th or 6th alt and don't really matter in the grand scheme - my mains to level are all 100 to 104 IL for the start of the Expansion.

Got my enhance shammy to ilvl 100 as well. Love the changes to windfury totem for my melee brothers.

I took today, tomorrow, and Wednesday off for it. My typical procedure for expansion launch is to binge it for 36-48 hours without logging out then crash for a few hours before catching up on anything I missed.
