A friend of mine recently bough the new LG Oled 45in Ultragear and its pretty incredible. only 1440p though so the pixels per inch isn't very good, but for gaming, its incredible.

I've used a smaller OLED TV as a monitor for a couple of years now and it hasn't been an issue. I wouldn't worry about it with modern OLED panels.

I’ve got one of these, but I bought it years ago, so I’m sure there are better options now:

Are refresh rates important for games like CS and other competitive FPSs?

I have a nice rez 26 inch monitor but the max refresh rate is 60 hz. Heard you want something like 240 hz.

I've been using this one. Works well enough. Full disclosure: I am not too picky about monitors. I have a mid-range rig, and the monitor kind of fits my mid-range lifestyle without any complaints.
