Zero. Zero games.
Has EA's shenanigans not taught you anything?

None. Otherwise, the r/gaming mafia would kill me in my sleep.
Also, because there's no point.

Destiny 2 was worse than anything EA has ever done.

Although it's very rare that I pre-order, I have had the Yakuza 6 After Hours Premium Edition on pre-order since the day it was announced.
Sega has a great track record with the Yakuza series and treating its fans right, so I dgaf if the reddit goons melt or not.

If I pre-order a game its usually within a week before it releases. And that's only so it will have the game and day one patch downloaded and ready to go at midnight.
That said, the only game I've pre-ordered in the last year was the southpark game. And that was when I was blackout drunk #WorthIt

Preordering video games becoming part of video game market culture has been horrible for the quality of games as well as the consumer in general.

Don't know what your talking about, 2017 was one of the best years in gaming and 2018 is already off to a good start.

There's a reason companies hype and push the preordering model... and itt's not because it's good for you, it's because it's good for them.
What does preordering a game accomplish exactly?
The roots of preordering video games date back to the cartridge era. Carts were expensive to produce and as such were not by default produced in large numbers. The first run of a game's production wasn't huge and if you didn't preorder there was a real possibility you might have to wait weeks to get it after the initial release. This fact is also why there are some very rare cartridge based games. If a game didn't sell well, it may have never gotten a second production run.
However this hasn't been an issue for 20 years.
