re: What games do you have on pre order?

More preorders the more stores order the game and helps sales.

I have Bayonetta and God of War. Once Spiderman, Detroit, and Days Gone have dates I'll preorder them.

Well, yeah. Are there companies that abuse the pre-order culture? Sure. No doubt. Warner Brothers, EA, Activision and Ubisoft are ones that I tend to not pre-order.

There's also very valid reasons to pre-order:

1. If you're a big fan and you want a special/collector's edition of a game. Secondary market can drive prices sky high without a pre-order.

2. If you get a discount (Amazon).

3. If you want the game on day of release and you want it downloaded ASAP (digital orders).

4. If you want the game on day of release and you're not going to be near a store to purchase it so you want it delivered to your home.

I will eventually get Ni No Kuni, but not day one.

I would pay $200 to play that game.

I never preorder games. Cartman summed up preorders best.

"When you preorder a game you're just committing to paying for something that some assholes in California haven't even finished working on yet. You know what you get for preordering a game? A big dick in your mouth."

The only preorder I have is the WoW expansion and that should need no explanation.
