I agree it's a one shot and done but it's probably one of the most enjoyable games I've played in years

You talking about HL2?
I agree. It's a cool game and fun. But not the "zomg it's the goat" like everyone makes it out to be. I'm finishing up episode two now. Maybe if I'd played it when it came out id appreciate it more. Seems like those who feel strongly about it are life long gamers who say HL2 changed gaming or whatever. It's pretty decent but after im done I'll never launch it again probably
