Was the Intervention really this good or was it the shoddy hit detection in MW2?

Shoddy hit detection and COD are synonymous.

hit detection in COD has never been spectacular.

But, the Intervention isn't an easy sniper rifle to master compared to the .50 cal, EBR, WA2000 in MW2. It has a lot of sway to it and is bolt action.

To this day I remember shite talking this clan so hard before a match and then they shite all over us the entire game. All of a sudden a buddy of mine says hes three kills from a nuke and I went full on bodyguard mode until he got it and set it off. They left during the game and we sent them voice messages after. Its the only nuke he ever got in the game, we talked about it a month or two back

never understood the love for the Intervention. WA200 with thermal was the GOAT for me in all of COD. When I quit playing MW2 I was just north of 60 nukes and all were sniping. It needs to come back!

that "snap" was so satisfying

I was sitting at 24 kills on the map wasteland I think it was called. I’m in the trenches down by the bunker shooting at a guy when I run out of ammo. I throw my Semtex and as soon as I let go of it he kills me. My Semtex then lands and kills him.
