Also, this is going to hurt the new game market as well in the sense that as it is now the used game market dictates that prices drop on a new game after it's been out for a while. You think developers are going to be quick to offer price drops when they don't have the competition of used games?

Both threads display legitimate conversations taking place between you and other members. The context doesn't support trolling in either thread. The stance you had about a year ago appeared to be the same stance you had just a few months ago. Now that we have clarification on the policies of each system, your stance appears to be different.

What is most striking, however, is your defense, and how you believe the fact that you "only purchase and play digital copies" somehow says anything about how you feel regarding used game policies. The stretch you make is quite astonishing.

I've never smoked pot, yet that says nothing about whether or not I think marijuana should be legalized (I think it should).

I've never owned a gun, yet that says nothing about how I feel guns should be regulated in this country.

And, like you, I've never bought a used game or traded in a game, yet that says nothing about how I feel used games should be managed within the industry.

However, as you mentioned, you were apparently trolling in both threads, despite the contextual authenticity. I think others should take note that you're a self professed troll, and that any effort to have a substantive conversation with you should be rendered futile, which is unfortunate.

It's akin to trying to talk politics or philosophy with a birthday clown.

It's pretty impressive you can judge someones intentions based off of postings on a message board. Based on your theory one can't troll and seem serious at the same time. Those are truly the best trolls as they get people riled up more because they aren't so obvious. It makes poking people like Taylork37 that much more fun for me.

People having this thought that El Gaucho is the best troll on TD is BS. Posters like Lester Earl, Bilj, and Maximus are far better because people actually think they are serious when in reality they are messing with people the majority of the time.

I have plenty of legit convos on here and bring a lot of discussion but at the same time I have always said this board is a place of entertainment for me. It may not be obvious when I am trolling or not to you but that would make it a little less fun for me. There will always be plenty of people to fall into the traps so if you no longer choose to engage with me out of fear of this it's no big deal. Another Cs, Bunta, or Taylor will be along shortly.
