Just saw the physical game carts don't contain the game. Nintendo was the last retro compatible holdout, RIP. Sad times.

Most of the current carts don’t hold the games. They need to download in full but can still only be played with the game in the slot.

Really, last I bought was TOTK I think, it was on the cart. Required an update but that was it.

I know some ps5 games are the same, just a certificate on a disc.

Wouldn’t say most just some.

Almost all Nintendo games come on the cart unless I’m mistaken. Those are the only games I get for Switch.

I believe the Arky poster is referencing the console bundle pack-ins where it's the code for the digital version that's included. I saw something about it earlier today and can't remember where I saw that.

I was talking about carts that don’t hold games which is this cart key they are now pushing, that’s not true if we are talking games made by Nintendo on the Switch.

Making the Tour a paid game is something only Nintendo would do. It's basically 1-2 Switch all over again, if anyone even remembers that piece of crap.

Outside of the new Donkey Kong, absolutely nothing of note. It's basically just a bigger, better Switch with better tech specs.

I'll get one eventually I'm sure.

Didn't realize the FromSoftware game was an exclusive. That will certainly move units. That's when I'll probably get mine.

Nintendo made another Bloodborne before Sony could remaster their own Bloodborne

That vampire game looks really interesting, and I usually hate games like that

It’s multiplayer but it’s for sure on my hype list.

Def looks like Bloodborne 2

Just announced:

The U.S. will tariff products from Vietnam at a 46% rate. Could heavily impact Switch 2 pricing, possibly globally.

Nintendo shifted Switch 2 production from China to Vietnam/Cambodia to avoid tariffs. Others include 34% tariffs on China, 49% on Cambodia, 24% on Japan, 20% on the EU, and more.

Wonder how that'll work out since I just registered on the eshop interest in getting the $499 bundle.

Well, it's probably been discussed but the FromSoftware game is basically multiplayer focused, much like Nightreign, it's basically PvPvE, you are in a world but competing against other players.

Kind of a strange thing to do as an exclusive, I get it as an Elden Ring spin off but this immediately kills my hype for it.

Having "Bloodborne 2" would have had a ton of people buy the Switch 2 just to play. I'm not interested in these multi-player first FromSoftware games really.
