Also, went to visit xur. Got the auto rifle and as exotic engram. Go see the cryptarc, freaking warlock helmet.
Waste of my motes of light.

So dumb it should at least open something for whatever class you are. That's just too much to do just to get effed over like that.

Why is the auto rifle 10 more coins than the other ones? I'm hesitant to buy it since they released they're going to be nerfing the range/impact of auto rifle.

ETA: I googled it, shits pretty boss.

Do you know if it leeches life in crucible as well?

It is easily the best AR in the game and probably the best PvP primary period. It will still likely be king shite of ARs even after the blanket nerf. Unless they run ARs into the ground it will stay a very good weapon.

PvP is probably gonna get pretty painful for those without it.

Anyone dismantle an exotic item yet? What do you get? Debating on whether or not to do that or create a warlock.

So annoying.

ets: looks like you get the same as dismantling legendary. Good god Bungie get it together. Work your butt of just to get the same outcome??

Crucible balances all weapons. Recoil, rate of fire, sway, ads time, and reload time are going to be the differences between weapons.

Iron Banner will allow all weapon features.

I'm not sure if it balances the passives as well. My rifle allows for the radar to stay active when ADS, and that is functional in the crucible. I think the other passives are too, but overall damage output is the same.

My understanding is that the crucible simply normalizes the Attack numbers on weapons and the Defense number on your character sheet. Everything else, including armor/weapon passives, is left unmodified.

What it comes down to, then, is the little stat bars each weapon has for stuff like stability/ROF/Impact. For instance, the higher the impact, the more damage a gun does per shot. Impact kind of gives you an idea of a gun's bullet damage relative to the class of gun it belongs to.
