tough in Crucible
Crucible has been tough on me in general. I haven't played an FPS online in almost 2 years probably and I can tell I'm way out of practice.
I've enjoyed the game so far. As far as people bitching about repetitive quests with having to kill enemies over and over, I really don't understand the gripe. What else was there to be expected of you?
As far as PvP goes, what are the key stats to look for in your weapons and armor?

For non competitive advantage playlists, the gear is the same except for RoF and strength/intelligence/discipline. So look for those to find gear which suits you.

So the stats you still benefit from, just not the armor value? What about with weapons with the impact and such?

The only problem I have with repetitiveness in the story mode is that most levels end with Peter Dinklage scanning something forever while waves of enemies come at you. That shite gets old.

Yea, the game is basically escort Dinkle-Spark around.
I love fighting off wave after wave though. Those flood missions in Halo were always my favorite.

I'd rather fight my way to an objective than defend one. But that's my preference.
I didn't think I'd like the bladedancer class but man it's the tits

Something like that, but there are multi-player modes that allow competitive advantage to where better weapon damage matters

Yea, I really like the blade dancer. It works very well hopping from enemy to enemy. Taking away my throwing knife, however, is unforgivable

I miss my throwing knife

I unlocked Crucible last night and promptly got my arse handed to me on a platter.

Did the strike mission on the moon last night. Holy shite that was hard. Took us probably 45 minutes or so to beat it. This game is a blast.

I've been running around with a shotgun on the Crucible. It's the only way I can go positive right now. 20-17 FTW

Decided to join in with two of my friends this morning and that on the hard difficulty was a nightmare. It didn't help that I was only a level 17 and the enemies were all 20's

When I used my Super Charge on the monster (actual name escapes me) and it only went down a little bit after a direct hit, I just said "Oh frick...."

That strike is freaking intense. The extra spawns are what make so hard

I tried reading about what happens with the mote of light and increasing level after 20, but someone here will have to explain

After you reach level 20 you will then have access to and will obtain pieces of armor from Strikes, engrams and (or) crucibles which in addition to standard increases to strength, discipline and what not, your armor will have an additional attribute called Light. Your Light level will increase your level depending in the amount associated with your equipped pieces armor that have Light associated with it. Just like all other armor attributes, the pieces must be equipped for the light to be applied. If you remove items with light, your level will go down and then back up when equipped again.

Second page, this is unacceptable.
What is y'alls favorite planet so far? I'm really digging Venus. The urban jungle aspects of it are really cool.
I am a little upset that different planets don't have different gravity. I mean, at least let us jump a good bit higher on the moon
Just seems like it would have been a cool little feature.
