Was scrolling through Madden 23 videos and I see this obnoxious frick pop up. Looked at this video and he is going bat shite insane for Ultimate Team and how amazing the game is. How he’s going “balls deep and giving EA a lot of money this year”.
I haven’t come across someone with a more punchable face in a while

I played a few games last night and it's definitely better than 22 but 22 was also just the worst so.

I'll never understand the infatuation some people have with these Ultimate Teams across all the sports games. Nothing about having a random group of players, wearing a random NFL uniform and playing in a random NFL stadium sounds fun to me. I despise it and how it has placed every other game mode on the back burner.
This Ultimate Team shite should be it's on downloadable game from the store. Keep that shite separate from the base sports game.

the entire concept should’ve been limited to FIFA. at least with soccer, you’re combining players of the same nationality/club/league. there’s no equivalent in American sports. but EA saw a cash cow and decided they needed to infect every other property with it

Exactly how I feel about MUT. No, I don’t want a team with Barry sanders, ray lewis and randy moss. I want a very detailed franchise experience with current teams and rosters.

So I been watching some of the pros play. It does look better but “LB 0 blitz” is broken. The blitz gets home every time and the man coverage is pretty solid and it’s driving everybody crazy. I’m sure there are ways to beat it but it looks like that’s the OP defensive play for now
I’m also seeing that side line passes are sailing and there’s a lot less “toe taps” on those corner routes that everyone loves unless you throw a perfect precision pass

I hate to give them credit, but I enjoyed my 10 hour free play trial. It's better than 22 even though that's not saying much at all. I didn't think the graphics could get any better but it looks amazing.
There's absolutely no pass blocking in the game though when I played on all-pro. Literally as soon as you're able to pass you have a defensive lineman on you. The two tackles let the ends run right by them 90% of the time. Probably going to wait a bit on buying this one.

It's definitely a decent improvement from dogshit to almost okay.
