That’s what was announced. Maybe later?

ETA: People think it may be as early as when TVGA ends or as late as midnight Pacific.

Wont spoil anything but it's tough so far. For those wondering, the DLC is accessible after you've freed all the beasts.

I'll be playing it in Master Mode as well...so....awesome

Does the new dungeon show up just after beating the 4 divine beasts, or do you have to beat Ganon as well?

I just had to teleport one more time to trigger it.

Jesus this one hit thing is brutal. You've really got to plan your attacks out. The nice thing it doesn't matter what armor you wear so I can try some out I usually never do

Finished it in a mini-marathon today since I had the day off.

Not bad. Some of the new shrines had some really nice puzzles...a big step up compared to the vanilla shrines. The new Divine Beast-like dungeon was alright, but I was expecting it to be more elaborate. The motorcycle is dumb.

I probably don't have any helpful advice outside of what you've already heard, but here's the best I can think of:

1. Prepping for the trials:
a. Before the final trials, you're going to want to get really good with parrying guardian beams. I'd suggest going through the Forgotten temple for practice until you feel comfortable getting kills with parrying beams.
b. Cook up either a 30 minute 3x defense meal and use it just before you're entering the trials. You're going to have to switch to a heat / cold buff effect after the first five levels, so you're going to want defense to preserve as many hearts through the first five levels as possible.
c. Same thing with hearts. Make sure you've used a meal to get max hearts before entering the trials.
d. Turn your tuner to target treasure chests. There are a lot of hidden treasure chests, so you're going to want to make sure you grab all of them on each floor.

2. Inside the trials:
a. On each level, before moving on, make sure you smash all of the crates and barrels. You'll get a ton of arrows and cooking supplies you'll need later.
b. On the skeletal monsters, try to use their limbs as weapons until you find a spear. You don't want to waste the metal/rusted weapons you find on the ground since you can use them later.
c. Also on the skeletal levels, make sure you run around the map with magnesis on to find any rusted weapons you might have missed before going on to the next level.
d. The first or second level on the heat world has an oktoroc, so I hope you saved some of those rusted weapons and shields. If you drop a rusted weapon, he'll suck them out and shoot them back at you as good as new. Just make sure you have your shield drawn.
d. Stasis is your best weapons, freezing your enemies is the best way to guarantee headshots, especially on the skulnox.
e. Try to pick off enemies one by one by just getting the attention of one guy and luring him away from the rest. Your bombs are also a great way to kill enemies without wasting weapons. Keep tossing bombs. To help with the timer issue, throw one type of bomb, detonate, and then switch to the other type of bomb immediately.
f. Save your ancient arrows for the last five levels. You're going to want them for the guardians you're going to face.

On the resting levels with the cookpots:
a. Make sure you catch all of the fairies on these levels, and DO NOT cook them into meals. It's better to have a guaranteed revive than extra hearts.
b. Pay attention to the herbs and fish you're getting on these levels, and cook them accordingly. The level before the heat levels will have heat resistance herbs, and same with the ice levels. Try to cook as many dishes with these effects as possible so you don't waste hearts due to being too hot or cold.

That's about it. It's really just a matter of being patient. When you lose patience, you draw in mobs that you should have been able to take care of one at a time.

There's a guy on youtube called quizzle that did a couple of no-hit master trial runs. I'd watch those videos to get ideas for how to keep as many hearts as possible.

Anyone else working through Champions ballad DLC?

They made the rematches against the Ganons a giant pain in the arse. I'm stuck on Waterblight now and it's ridiculous. You get the trident and 10 arrows and that's it besides the powers you already have. Been trying for about 45 minutes now and still no luck. Apparently 3 arrows to the eye stuns him, but if you miss anymore than 1 time you might as well start over. Jesus this is aggravating.

Let me use all my damn regular shite.

Windblight was really easy.

Thunderblight kicked my teeth in about 10 times before I got him.

Haven’t gotten to the other two yet. But I’m really enjoying the DLC so far.

I haven’t played in a few months and it took a while to dust the fighting cobwebs off.

I thought thunderblight was the hardest regular run boss. I'm only on water as my second but I'm probably 15 tries in and still haven't

I've been pretty disappointed with the dungeons.

Easy bosses and puzzles. Really the only negative thing about this game.

Yea, the other three were pretty easy compared to Waterblight, at least for me they were. It helps to remember that you can use cryonis to destroy the ice blocks it throws at you. I'd also use a 3x attack potion just before going in, and making sure urbosa's fury is fully charged.

I completed the DLC2 pack the weekend it came out because it snowed here and we were basically just stuck inside all weekend.

I beat all the rematches first time no issue at all, I have one more shrine before waterblight left so good info here.
Also I just got a pro controller so it's amazing how better it is than the joycons, I didn't think it would be, but it surely is.

Best controller I've used on a Nintendo system by far

Depends on what you have and what you are planning to get.

70 is high but it can also be used on a PC and it's conformable as hell
