I'd say explore Hyrule Castle, but don't defeat Ganon until you complete the Main Quest, like getting all the Memories and the Master Sword.

So... I don't know if this is going to spoil anything, but do you meet Zelda before facing Ganon? After watching all of the cutscenes you have a pretty awesome connection to her - yet she's nowhere to be seen, because well, you know, story.

Her diaries are a must for story and character development.

Yes, but do you meet her in the present? Also, is her diaries different from your memories?

Is there a way to store weapons, bows and shields for later use? Is that what the house in Kariko? village is for?

Yes. The house you can purchase is in Hateno Village. Can have up to 3 displays for each kind of equipment.

The building from the ground up quest is my next one... there is so much to do in this game, and somehow I have never felt overwhelmed like I did multiple times in the Witcher 3

It's kind of tough to answer that without spoiling a major part of the story in regards to whether or not you meet her in the present. Just know that what Impa tells you is correct in regards to what Zelda's doing now.

And yea, her diaries and your memories are a little different. Her diary entries, IIRC, cover all of your memories, but they tell the story from her perspective so they flesh out the cutscenes a lot more. If you make it into the castle, make sure to find her room and read the diaries. It answers some questions you might have.

I wish Hyrule castle was a lot larger. Exploring those rooms for the first time was awesome!

Same here. Probably the part of the game I'm least satisfied with are the lack of large, complex dungeons like the other Zelda games. I do like the fact that the castle is actually loaded with enemies as opposed to the divine beasts where it's mostly just a large puzzle before fighting the boss.

There's also another room with a different diary that I think is worth it as well.

This is one thing i'll never finish. Think I have nearly 200 or so. Just hate throwing dups of awesome elemental items with special stats.

I think I was at about 200 when I was ready to finish the game. It wasn't until I beat Ganon that I decided to look up maps with korok seed locations to see what areas I might have missed and if I overlooked areas that were worth exploring. Going back, there were so many that I have no idea how I missed them completely. It's not like they were hidden away, either.

Now that I'm replaying on Master Mode, I've run across a ton of areas that I don't know how I missed on my first play through. I think a lot of it has to do with being "forced" to avoid enemy camps rather than taking the most direct path.

I just can't believe we have 700+ seeds in game. I mean, I have all 120 shrines, completed nearly every side quest but maybe 4 and farmed days worth of star fragments etc for gear. I touched every corner in that world and tried climbing everything.

One of the main issues might be I didn't know exactly how to spot them early on. Like the signs to look for when they are around. Still even then, that might only get me an extra 100 or so.

If there were 200-300 I may be interested in trying to find them all. The fact there's 700 and I don't think I found 100 in my Normal run through just kills any motivation to focus on just finding those. I don't know what the reward is but I heard its very lame.

Just finished up the last labyrinth... Man I wish they had more of those. So much fun

Further explanation: I didn't touch any of them until now, did all the back to back

So over the weekend I made a push into Hyrule Castle and accidentally found my way into the boss room without having even found the lockup or Zelda's room... woops

Needless to say, I didn't do the fight, loaded the last save, and proceeded to explore the castle more - finished all the side stuff in their and left.

I still have 21 Shrines to conquer before I take down Ganon!

I hope he's a better fight in Master Mode than normal. I beat him easily in the first try and it was super disappointing. In general the bosses at the beasts and Ganon were nothing special and probably one of my only complaints about the game.

like I said in a previous post though, this game hasn't been "easy" by any means - but I do like that as the game goes on I'm slowly getting stronger and stronger, and I almost feel like the Master Sword user at this point. (you can be soooo much more OP in many of the other Zelda games in my opinion)

Because of that - I don't know if I would ever enjoy Master Mode - I want to feel badass, like the Hero of Time, not some lousy Unkindled
