yeah i was thinking it was more complicated, but then took a step back considered every design choice like the numbers on the sides of each slot, and figured it out super quickly

it's so simple but because you expect more. it's a neat little trick. i'm sure some got it right away like "no shite" but i didn't.

same happened to me, i'm convinced you need to rack up some kills to trigger it. i found it during a blood moon and missed it by seconds and then did what you did.

just warp back super quickly and glide there when you first notice the blood moon warning signs.

Hopefully a world tour of Lynel hunting will do the trick.

I'll throw on my thoughts of Zelda:

Really good.

Up until a certain Stealth Section in the story. I probably missed the obvious solution, but failing at it almost a dozen times, which puts you back at the beginning of it every time, sapped all my desire of the game.

That was about a week ago, and I haven't turned the game back on since. Maybe I'll get back to it soon, game has alot going for it. But geez, that section completely irritated me.

That section pissed me off too. I had to redo it just as many times.

Eventually I finally got the right combo of sneakstrikes and banana tossing.

I like reading this thread to try to see where everyone's at in the game.

But to be honest, for the most part, I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I've seen multiple blood moons and didn't know there was a significance.

I also have no clue what the two divine beast icons to my top left of screen or for. They turn red sometimes, I figured that was a blood moon or something.

Finally got far enough feeling comfortable to come in here. Great thread being good about spoilers.

I feel like everyone's first main dungeon is the Zora one

I found this funny considering I just beat it as my 3rd divine beast remembering back it was because I kept trying to ride horseback north from that southeast part of the map and for some reason kept getting stuck between all the damn levels of hills. Said screw it and went completely the other way and started with Gerudo and then Rito.

I'm still what I consider at the beginning even though Ive been playing off and on for a week. Only thing on my main quest list is destroy ganon, free divine beats, and captured memories which I found two of. I have no idea where to go and I love it.

I just ran into a zora asking me to go see the king on my way to a tower so Ill probably see what thats about.

Solved about 15 or so shrines only. 4 towers.

Loving the game so far. Just feels weird being so open and not knowing exactly where to go next. It's also weird selling rocks for rubies instead of finding them in the world. I only found a handful of rubies naturally.

btw frick guardians and lynels. If I see them I'm running the other way so they don't one shot me.

I don't have the skill/equipment to deal with Lynels yet, but I spent about 20-25 min the other day just working on reflecting the Guardian lasers back at them to kill them. I feel much better about running into them now.

Still working on my perfect guard, til then I'll just murder them with ancient arrows.

Went back and took out the first Lynel (Polymus Mt) once I had Stasis+ (was pretty easy by that point).

Ran across the white one at the Colosseum and was like, nope, maybe after a few more shrines.

I haven't gotten to the Ancient Arrows yet so I'm stuck blocking them for the time being.

I'm focusing on shrines to get the master sword before I do any more divine beasts I think. Have 2-3 more hearts to go.

Just to let you guys know, since I'm a lynel and guardian lulling expert at this point, 1 ancient arrow to the eye is a 1 shot kill for guardians. ALSO, ancient arrows destroy any organic enemy with one shot as well. It sends them to another dimension. Everything from Hinoxes, lynels, etc. it's crazy. Such an OP weapon.

Ancient arrows on the bow you get from the Rito is OP as hell. One headshot kill on guardians most of the time

Good to know. I've started hanging on to the x3 bows (like the forest dweller bow) for those types of occasions (big monsters). Between those and Stasis+ Hinox are largely a joke so far.

I haven't gotten to that yet Im guessing. I heard the same guy sells the ancient bow, arrows, and armor correct?

ETA: One guardian dropped one Guardian Arrow for me before but it was only one. I'm not sure if it was from a Shrine Challenge or one out in the wild.

That's correct.

Also.. wow at Brettesaurus completing Gerudo first. That's basically Hard Mode .

Also those icons in the top left represent your divine beast powers and if they are on cooldown.
