Ancient weapons (including the master sword) are more effective in guardians

I bought some ancient arrows at the lab and walked outside and there's that decayed guardian and was like hmmm. Let me try this, it makes sense.
I found out how to one shot them maybe a little too early. Second playthrough I forget I'm not as leveled up and they kill me more often
I found out about blocking their lasers while trying to dodge them for a flurry attack.

wait, ancient arrows are that powerful?
is that the key to killing lynels?
Keep in mind, and I could be mistaken, but the ancient arrows suck up everything that the Lynel would drop, hooves, guts, weapons, and all. So you could kill them with one shot, but then there was really no point to killing them to begin with.

I'll throw on my thoughts of Zelda:
Really good.
Up until a certain Stealth Section in the story. I probably missed the obvious solution, but failing at it almost a dozen times, which puts you back at the beginning of it every time, sapped all my desire of the game.
That was about a week ago, and I haven't turned the game back on since. Maybe I'll get back to it soon, game has alot going for it. But geez, that section completely irritated me.
Not sure if this helps or not, but it's probably supposed to be common knowledge and just not explained (at least not with the HUD display off). If you "hold" a banana, you can press the whistle command and it will allow you to toss them out further.
Also, in the main area, if you've played Windwaker, the way through is a little easier.

Which is funny because the electric dude took me probably 25 times to beat and thinking damn if all these bosses are this hard this is gonna be nuts. I had a crap ton of bomb arrows that really helped out. But then I pretty much beat Rito within 5 times and then the water guy within 2 times.

It takes time. Spent a whole day farming star fragments.
Get on top a mountain over looking Hyrule or the desert. When the star drops mark it and fast travel or run to that location. Once you get a star just camp fire it until the next night. Star fragments usually drop only 1 a night, rare occasions you will see more than one in an area per night.
So yea, finally gave up after one star fragment completely disappeared at 7:00 AM game time, another fell into water just as I arrived, and a third fell into one of those bottomless bogs that kill you if you jump in.
And so I went back to my home, grabbed my best weapons, and charged head on into the castle. I think I spent three hours exploring and slaughtering everything before finally reaching the end. Probably spent longer than I needed to, but a blood moon decided to pop up near the end of my tour of the castle grounds.
And thank gawd the journey of the game was awesome because man was that ending anti-climactic.

Haven't figured out what I need to stop myself from.catching on fire trying to make it to Goon city. Tried to make it on food alone and think I only made it to area 3. Trying not to look it up, so I guess ill try elixers. But I can't see that being the answer to stay in that area.

Flame resistance and heat resistance are different.

Make sure you have about 2000 rupees before you get to Goron city and go to the clothes shop immediately. The flame breaker armor will be there and prevent you from getting roasted.

Have all four divine beasts. I finished Vah Medoh and Vah Rudania after I had the Master Sword. It made a WORLD of difference. I beat both Gannon Blights in one try.
Now just collecting the last few memories and doing more shrines before I go after Gannon.

It takes a while to get used to Ganon.

Yep that's what I figured out. I grabbed one of those lizards on my first visit not thinking. Was in Gerudo town working on side quests and was making some heat resistant potions and one of them turned out to be flame resistant. Said well I guess ill try it. Made it to Goron City and ended up in that armor shop with enough to get chest and leg piece and thankfully didn't need the headset.

That's part of the game. Weapons are going to break... a lot. When you start out, you're going to want to hunt those little red guys as often as you can to get the weapons they drop. You're also going to want to hunt at night because you can use the arms of the skeletons you kill as weapons. You're also going to want to get good with the bow as headshots kill enemies quicker, saving your melee weapons for bigger kills.

Just finished the 4th divine beast. Really don't want to head to the castle yet. Gonna start hunting memories down next I guess. Hate to say it but I wish there were like 3-4 more divine beasts to get.
On a side note, since the latest patch it seems like docked play has improved greatly. Haven't experienced a stutter once.

Up past midnight on a school night but it was totally worth it to see that master sword in my hands. And then of course I had to try it out so yeah now I'm fricked for work tomorrow, totally worth it.
