I think you're exactly right on this. it's going to get ugly
that's just based off some reviews and reaction threads though. i haven't read any leaks besides the "big spoiler" (which was still the most predictable thing on earth lol). Going in expecting it to be shite, so hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised.
I paid 80 for my special edition and sold it on ebay for 130, so im basically getting the digital edition for $10. wont be out a chunk if it's trash

If anyone is interested in hearing a synopsis of the entire story, including the ending, I thought this video did a pretty good job:

I never played TLOU (the gameplay doesn't really interest me), so I wasn't planning on playing TLOU2, but this was a great way to understand the plot and separate fact from fiction in regard to all the leaked rumors and whatnot.
