There was nothing uncharacteristic about it. Joel and Tommy saved a girl and got stuck between trusting her or getting devoured. Unfortunately they just happen to trust the wrong people.
And before you say Joel would never trust anyone he trusted Henry and Sam in the first game plus the community takes in people all the time so it's certainly not out of character for Tommy

TPM has and had redeeming qualities.
There is nothing positive from TLJ or TLOU 2. At least Bayhem and Emmerich movies have action and cheesy dialogue. TLJ is an abortion of cinema.

Was browsing through the subreddit for the game and enjoying some laughs.
Some magnificent bastard edited the gay sex scene with the Titanic love song and images of other popular video game characters cornholing each other.

12 hours in. Game is better because it lets me play unlike the first six hours. Characters still suck. Combat still meh. Exploration is tedious. Story is as interesting as blank paper.
Best time I had so far was a lengthy flashback scene where you just walk and press triangle a few times
Haven’t come across Abe again, but I suspect it’s soon. Killing dogs and hearing their owners freak is disturbingly the funnest part of the game.

So kind of them to make Father’s Day posts on twitter in regards to Joel. Glad to see the amount of respect they have for twitter is so much greater than the game people paid 60 dollars for.
