I've seen some good things about the update. Gonna try to convince my friends to try it out tomorrow with me. It has worked relatively well when I want to play by myself, but trying to play with a party has just been a failure more often then not.
Also saw that the hit detection is 100x better in H2 now.

I feel you. However, the game just seems pointless without ranks. Also, how can I suck at H2A anniversary, but completely own at H2 Classic? I would love to rank up in H2A, but there is just something about it that throws me completely off and I never do anything good in it.

The update brought some major fixes. Wait times for match making are very short now. We had a 4 man party last night that worked pretty well (we did have 2 Halo 3 games crash out at the loading screen). Still problems with ranking though in H2A. Team ranks were similar to this last night: 34, 18, 6, 1 v 14, 9, 9, 1
way too much disparity. 10 years ago you rarely played someone that was > +/- 5 ranks from you. If they fix this and give us better match making playlists It will be 99% fixed. As of now I'd say it's 90% fixed where before the update it was 75%

Ranks need to get fixed ASAP. Too much quitting going on.
The game seems to be working a lot better, though I'm still getting some dropped games on the load screens.
BTB is actually finding matches, which is nice, but they're all gungoose CTF on Coagulation or TS. The voting system sucks balls. They need to just drop the voting and go to assigning games.

Its weird we've been playing a ton of BTB and we haven't gotten any gun goose.
It was like the only BTB game type I would get when I tried to play the game when it came out.
I think the rankings are supposed to be a big part of the next update that is supposed to be the massive one. I'm just fine with being actual functional to play with friends now.

Losers bracket finals. Noble Black is the 8 seed, and they are far from random. Arkanum is one of the best up and coming slayers in the game. APG is a beast too. His BR is as good as anybody's. You should have seen game 1. Noble Black was down 100 points in Ball Lockout, and pulled the comeback. Either way, I don't see anyone beating Evil Geniuses.
